Ross Lyon and Matthew Lloyd did a length preview of our game on Footy Classified last night.
Both Collingwood and Richmond are fast starters, and Ross Lyon believes whichever side has the best first quarter, will claim the four points.

Ross Lyon breaks it all down.

Score differential from turnovers +27 +8
Score differential from stoppages +12 +19
Collingwood relies on winning stoppages/clearances via Grundy. Inside F50, they kick 2-3 goals from stoppages.
Richmond don't rely on winning stoppages (16th in the league) as they set up well on the outside both offensively and defensively.
Collingwood is the highest possession team in the league. They like to slowly bring the ball forward by short chipping and marking until they get inside their forward half and then go long where their small/midsized forward crumb goals.
Richmond set up well defensively for slow play and then once they intercept in defence they switch and go. Richmond's half-forwards push up high and then they go quick to their isolated tall forwards with space behind them.
Lyon is tipping us to win while Lloyd tipped the Pies.
