Non-essential interstate travel now barred. Not yet outlined if or how this affects the AFL. It doesn't apply to our game vs Coll but what about the rest of round 2?

Change the fixture, make them all local derbies ahead of a 4 week lockdown
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

I think when we played them in the practice match, Hardwick did say that we were 3 weeks behind them in match practice or something of that nature. I may be wrong.

But from what I remember of that game it was largely a tackle free pressure less affair.

We need to apply the pressure on Thursday night because from what us saw of the pies on Friday night, the bulldogs did not apply any pressure and the pies were ruthless. They currently have an very well functioning zone which will be difficult to penetrate also.

We can’t be expecting to play as we did last Thursday and think it will be enough. We need to bring our one wood and apply that manic mauling pressure we are known for.

If we do that we should win as we have a better team. It will be a great game.

Well at least Vlastuin & Houli should be fit by July August September Round 2, 2021  :shh

It'll be a blind draft given the U18s has stopped too. MJ at least has some NTFL finals to go on. For the rest of the kids, if this stoppage goes for all of the footy season then recruiters will be judging them on U16 or Academy form.

Interesting to see if we play two rucks. I'd guess it depends on if the Pies use just Grundy in the ruck or they also include one-hit wonder Mason Cox. With the shorter quarters and the Pies shorter midsized forward line we don't want to have too many talls as our speed is our weapon.

Other than that I don't see us making any changes from the Round 1 as Houli isn't right yet to come back into the side.

Must play 2 Rickman against Grundy.  Soldo more than a match for him in the tap outs and Nank a good match around the ground
