Well done Pettifer

I think a huge pat on the back for Pettifer, i have been one of his biggest critics over the last couple of years but have to say he played a great game tonight.

It appears that he will keep his spot for the remainder of the season and hopefully build on his career from there onwards. His attack on the ball and also cool head under pressure were a real highlight and i really hope he can take the next step.

Keep working hard Kayne

Well done Pettifer.
When the supposed leaders of the team should have led by example byt instead hung their head in shame
Kayne and Chris Hyde showed what a better outlook the youth is than our miserable regulars.

Staff revved the troups up with an on field talk at the beginnning o the 3rd.
He probably said"forget everything that spud just said and lets do it for us"
It worked!

BTW,Why was Ottens bencehed for the 2nd qtr ???

Agree with everything you say Bulluss. Pettifer was very good tonight as was Hyde. There was no doubt on Kayne having the natural skills for this level. It was his attitude and attack on the footy that was bloody dreadful and plainly soft. Based on the last two weeks hopefully those deficiencies are a thing of the past and he now has his head screwed on.

Maybe the future isn't as grim as it appears.

Why when we were on top in the third quarter with Otto at CHF and Stafford in the ruck did Danny take off Stafford  ???

Why keep picking Chaffey and Gas as defenders each week if their form is so poor they need to be played forward cause they get killed in defence?

Why waste Bowden on a big lug like Whitnall? He's no Pavlich!

Oh boy!  ::)

He's played two good games in a row after being a disappointment for 3 years. Let's see what he does for the rest fo the year.

"Yeah, nah" I waited until today to let my anger subside and thought I would do the cliche search for positves.
Pettifer was very good.As mentioned he might have found his place.
I was impressed with his cool head in tight situations.
Good on him.Its up to him now to maintain consistency.

How many of you guys said the same thing about Hyde, Pettifer will be at Richmond next season and once Wallace is in and gets his coaching staff in place our youngsters will finally have some good development coaches.
