Has Rioli improved at all since 2017?

The answer is no.

Haha......after more than 12mths without a game.  It will be like watching Mason Cox in every game he has played after from the Prelim

ESSENDON could welcome back star forward Jake Stringer for Saturday’s Dreamtime game in Darwin against Richmond.

The 26-year-old has been out of the side since suffering a syndesmosis injury in Round 5, with the Dons winning just two of a possible seven matches in his absence.

Both Cale Hooker and Orazio Fantasia won’t play against the Tigers but are set to return against Hawthorn the following week.

On Joe Daniher, the club’s head of medical services David Rundle said “Joe’s tracking really well. We’re really pleased with his progress. He’s training fully with the group, and we’ll continue to monitor him closely.”

Haha they're so desperate because their forward line stinks.

Hope they play unfit Stringer and Daniher

Caro on 3aw calling this a danger game due to Essendon's ins and that we're not playing that great at the moment.

Lloyd replied it is a better looking Bombers side but he'd rather be us with one change than seven. Said Caro was just being an old-school Richmond fan.

Have to be on alert and not take them easy and take our advantage of our dominance in the game.Last week to slow of the blocks and kept Sun's in it.Looking for a full 22 effort carrying a few to many passengers.

I think the bombers have gone in with speed in mind. Also look smaller too.

If last night was any indication the game will be like a wet weather game which suits us but we need to bring our game style otherwise we are kidding ourselves against any team.

Soldo is an issue as we know. He’s playing dreadfully.

Our small forwards need to step up.
I’m expecting all the indigenous boys to really step up for this one and put on a show so the defence should be ready for Tippa and Mossie.
Rioli, Stack, Pickett, Bolton have an excellent opportunity here so I hope they all do really well. If they do we win very comfortably.
The club that keeps giving.

Smalls have been shocking to be honest the forward line dreadful.Exactly we need to bring our pressure and tackling and hunt for the ball, but most importantly everybody contributing.

If Rioli can't pull his finger out for this one then he never will.... :shh

Georgie you're right. 29 degrees and humid on a carpet surface. Can't play slow and chip the ball or overpossess by hand. Treat it like a wet weather game as you said - K.I.S.S principle. Apply pressure without the pill, go direct with it to our talls with the smalls front and centre. Territory and putting it on the scoreboard wins.
