Dunkley staying at the Bulldogs.

Treloar not a Dog. Mark Stevens initially said not and then Mitch Cleary said yes.

Jeremy Cameron to Geelong deal done. Details to come.

There's a backlog given it's all done via zoom.

Mitch Cleary reported Geelong, GWS and Essendon were in a three-way trade.

Geelong gave up picks 13, 15 and 20, as well as a future fourth, while getting Jeremy Cameron and one future second-round pick from each of Essendon and GWS.

The Bombers picked up Jye Caldwell in the deal and the Giants have a stack of picks.

Pies supporter Tom Browne trying to put a positive spin on the Collingwood firesale  :wallywink.

"Collingwood have set themselves up for free agency and the draft. Merrett, Petracca the following year examples. They moved on two players they were off. And Phillips who was passed by Daicos."

At the prices they went for I would have been interested in Aliir Allir for sure with Astbury getting on + frees up Balta as he could ruck relief too.

Also thought Alex Witherdon and maybe Tom Phillips were reasonable gets for their prices. Wing options etc.

We should’ve let Lynch go to the Pies. He’d have ended up at Tigerland in exchange for a rookie draft pick last night
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Why would any free agent go to Collingwood now after this.

Only if the contract was heavily front end loaded
