Final Score

Richmond   0.1   2.1   3.3    5.9-39
Hawthorn   5.3   7.3  10.5   11.5-71

Goals: Castagna 2, Lynch, Bolton, Edwards

Got what we deserved. Only turned up for the last quarter when the game was done.

Pathetic and mostly uncompetitive for three quarters.

10 goals in total and none in first quarters across two games. Every opposition is going to be studying both games but for us it starts with workrate and getting back to basics.

This is really a rubbish performance. When Chad Wingard is pulling ur pants down that tells the story really. Smith getting possessions at will. Truly terrible game.

Lacklustre, disinterested, no pressure, poor work rate, poor accountability.

Is it the loss of Caracella? Our ball movement is terrible. Fitness looks poor.

Our run and carry non existent.

Our forward line are the worst culprits as there is virtually no pressure in the ball carrier especially from our forwards. Practically no tackling intensity at all.

Clearly it’s between the ears. No one willing to stand up and work hard.

Very poor.
I had the caracella thought. But it can't be as simple as that, surely. Although all 3 games this year have been very ordinary

Our forward line is a rabble. If Jack and Lynch don’t take marks we can’t kick a score. There isn’t a lot of talent, creativity or scoring capacity in our small forwards.

Interesting to see how many changes we make next week.  Can't be too many when the 2s are only having Micky 🐁 games.
Must make some though

5 out our top 6 possession getters were defenders. Not their fault. Mids were horrible but our forwards were worse. Time for a few changes to put a rocket up some.

Let's hope this is the moment we change our mindset for season 2020.

Our game plan for the first three quarters was straight out of 2016, only in the last quarter did we try to move the ball quickly.

We really miss Blake.

Slow and unfit.

Were they complacent over the last few months? Figured they'd show up and just keep winning?

Work rate is deplorable.

First time in almost 60 years (since 1961) that we have failed to kick a goal in the first quarters of consecutive games.

Beaten up badly in the midfield which meant even when we went inside 50 it was via poor disposal and decision making given we were under pressure. Hawk defenders could easily intercept wayward bombs which stifled our tall forwards and nullified our small forwards (who were ordinary as well).

Sucks even more when you have a few days off work (extra long weekend).

I'm like the players were at the start of the game..

Extra long weekend and I'm as flat as a pancake

So does anyone know who was supposed to be playing on Smith?

I didn’t see Pickett much on the screen so was it him?
Whoever it was should be ashamed of themselves.
