Lost it mainly in the 2nd qtr. Dominated with 20 in50s but blew it at both ends. As WP said we should have been 3 goals up at half time not 2 down. In the end that's the final margin.

Broad on Greene was a stupid idea. One of the key coaching decisions that cost us the game

Hopefully Broad goes out when Astbury returns... :shh

Broad on Greene was a stupid idea. One of the key coaching decisions that cost us the game

The Egg started on Greene. Lasted about 10 minutes Greene kept running off easily. Then they moved Broad on to him

It had to be Vlaustin. He plays on him and we win. Leppitsch must have been on the pee when he came up with those matchups

As disappointing as this loss is I think we all know we could’ve or should’ve won this game.

With all the youngsters as ineffective as they were, Rioli continually doing nothing but still able to play, poor forward entries and Soldo unable to tap to any of his teammates, I think we did ok.

A lot to be dissatisfied with but also there’s is a lot to be pleased with.

Our pressure is getting better.

I’d like to see improved with our ball movement in the forward fifty.

I think Bolton is looking really good.
Rioli has to go. Bring in anyone else.
Soldo needs to go.

I’d like to see more pressure inside 50.
It would be nice to have a proper wingman, someone who can run all day and accumulate and deliver the footy inside 50. We have two marking forwards I don’t know why it’s so hard.
What happened to our inside 50 pressure?
We still have a long way to go to get to where it’s acceptable to watch.

The club that keeps giving.

Can't see how Naish was a better option than even an out of form Stack....hell even Markov would've given us more... :shh

...actually think his best chance might be as a small forward but can't see him being played there due to his lack of defensive pressure and doubt it woud even in the coaches minds... :shh :shh

Kick straight and we win the game basically. I'm not saying we played well, but the upside is there. We know we can convert those goals and play better. AND we are finding some players. I thought pickett looked a lot better tonight. Balta is on the right track. Can't forget we are missing 2/3 of our best mids, Prestia and cotch. Disappointing loss, but it's very early still. If we lose that game in 6 games time then we are in trouble.

Problem is you cant really make any wholesale changes as those in reserve just haven't played enough games and will stink it up.  Then we'll all be back next trying to get rid of them.

Oh and also. SO many players still out of form. Rioli is a standout. I have faith he will come good but geez he's been dismal.

Why does $1m man Lynch escape criticism?
