Why does $1m man Lynch escape criticism?

He appeared to be a at the back of a lot of contests. A few nothing leads I saw as well. But our fwd50 entrys are completely appalling. No wonder lynch and Jack have had below average years.

He hasn't been great but have you not seen our forward entries? :shh

Our forward entries haven’t been great but it would be nice to see them take a couple of contested marks from time to time especially lynch since that’s one of his strengths.

As disappointing as this loss is I think we all know we could’ve or should’ve won this game.

With all the youngsters as ineffective as they were, Rioli continually doing nothing but still able to play, poor forward entries and Soldo unable to tap to any of his teammates, I think we did ok.

A lot to be dissatisfied with but also there’s is a lot to be pleased with.

Our pressure is getting better.

I’d like to see improved with our ball movement in the forward fifty.

I think Bolton is looking really good.
Rioli has to go. Bring in anyone else.
Soldo needs to go.

I’d like to see more pressure inside 50.
It would be nice to have a proper wingman, someone who can run all day and accumulate and deliver the footy inside 50. We have two marking forwards I don’t know why it’s so hard.
What happened to our inside 50 pressure?
We still have a long way to go to get to where it’s acceptable to watch.

Bloody oath ! We have to remember the cattle we have here. Missing cotch, prestia, nank, houli, edwards. Throw in Astbury and caddy as well. I think our young guys are doing a great job. We kick straight and we win. It's a long season folks. The intent and pressure is there, just need some more experience. I'll say I'm really disappointed with riolis year. After rd1 I thought he was going to have a breakout seaaon. As a team we really need stack to lift. We need this players putting pressure on.

When forwards lose confidence in the delivery they'll often start second guessing...and most blokes that size can't just run all day like Richo or Buddy... :shh

Lotta excuses for a million dollar man.

I wouldn’t pay him $500k on current form.

Contested marking is why we got him.

Vickery could mark on a stuffing lead.

Wonder what the result would've been had the match been played in QLD like it should've been... :shh

2nd youngest side this weekend apparently.

Adam Cooney said he was more impressed by us than GWS for what it's worth.

Riewoldt is really giving us nothing, he doesn’t seem to have the stamina for second efforts and he doesn’t pressure like he used to, something he was most proud of.

On the other hand, Chol showed that he is capable of applying excellent pressure up forward. Unfortunately his timing when attacking the footy in the air was miles off last night. He was about 5 seconds too early in his leap and not could he judge the drop of the ball, it was painful to watch.

The speedsters need to work harder and I don’t think I’ve seen anyone front and centre all year.

The club that keeps giving.

Kick straight and we win the game basically. I'm not saying we played well, but the upside is there. We know we can convert those goals and play better. AND we are finding some players. I thought pickett looked a lot better tonight. Balta is on the right track. Can't forget we are missing 2/3 of our best mids, Prestia and cotch. Disappointing loss, but it's very early still. If we lose that game in 6 games time then we are in trouble.

Picketts is nowhere near it atm. Shouldnt be playing seniors. Hes a VFL standard player at present.
