Karma’s a bitch Eddie
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

So is Eddie going to send Bucks & Sanderson home as that is what he said should happen to the WAGs?!

From Benny Gale's Twitter

"We’re committed to doing all we can to ahere to the @AFL COVID protocols. It’s not negotiable! The inadvertent breach this week was disappointing (and Trent immediately offered to pay the fine). It’s a reminder of the fragility of the @AFL competition, and the entire community."

The club should say nothing. I dont agree to putting the girl down anymore than she is feeling right now.

Whoever said this is along the same lines as those 2 scrags who fleed victoria into qld are wrong.

agree re: Eddie but did you expect anything else from him?

Not suggesting the club should name her, on the contrary think they should protect (for want of a better term).

But just think they should come out say we acknowledge the error, accept the fine and we are all in this together. Take the heat off rather than let the media feed off it.

well well well

afl has stood down mitch cleary after bringing up brooks name on twitter

Utter garbage that was by Cleary. Caro too can get stuffed.

Pretty harsh on Cleary.

Brooke put in on social media herself.

Plus, she was already outed on radio before Cleary reported it.

Agreed.

Also have no issue with her being named myself.

She's an adult. Don't think the club has to protect her as such. Support her, no problem, but she needs to own what she's done.

Hardwick said they (Cotchins) have accepted responsibility for an innocent mistake.

A journo asked if the club spoke to the AFL about Cleary. Dimma replied he doesn't deal with that side of the things.

Cleary's tweet blamed by the AFL for the public traction this got even though Caro mentioned it first without reaction. He also writes for the AFL website so he's been classed as an employee.

Sam Edmund claimed there was an agreement between Richmond and the AFL not to publicly name Brooke.

Spare me.  You deliberately breach a condition of your workplace contract and you get fired.  Mitch f'd up.

If Ralph and Maher feel so strongly about him then offer him a job.  Bloody hypocrites.  They luv to feast on a sacked coaches demise yet somehow their colleagues deserve better treatment.  FO

I can't post it from my phone but Brooke in the HeraldSun says she doesn't agree with Cleary's suspension nor had anything to do with it.

She also apologised. Said she had finished her 14-day quarantine and went to get a treatment believing she had AFL approval. She wouldn't have posted it on instagram if she thought she was doing something wrong.

Right, so your happy for a bloke to lose his job over it even though Brooke posted it on social media and other journos had already mentioned her name?

Your hatred for journos is clouding your judgement here  mate.

No way does he deserve to be sacked over that.
