Go in at full strength.  Don't flirt with form or personnel.

Problem I see with resting is that it will mean going into the first final they wouldn't have played for perhaps a fortnight.

Not sure that is what they need

Don’t forget that we’ll be playing Weds or Thursday night so it’s not likely to be a full 2 weeks.
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

When you see the strength of this squad it's really very good.
B.      Vlastuin.    Balta            Astbury
HB.    Houli.         Grimes.      Short
C.       Mcintosh   Bolton.       Pickett
HF.     Rioli           Reiwoldt.    Castagna
F.        Edwards      Chol        Lambert
R.       Nankervis  Martin.       Cotchin.
Int.     Baker.   Aarts.  Graham.  Markov

Interesting to see if Astbury & Edward's both come in this week??

Emerg/in the wings

I think Cotchin and grimes do need their hammies rested though. They both proved they can hit top form with time out in the sidelines.

I’m talking about our first final which - if we win on Sat - will most likely be the first final played, either a Wednesday or a Thursday depending on which rumour you prefer.

Wouldn't suprise me they make us travel last round and then play first.

That’s what normally happens. We are the blockbuster club, everyone wants to watch us play or watch us fall.

Lynch and Soldo likely replacements

By Andrew Slevison
SEN
15 September 2020

Jack Riewoldt on SEN’s Tiger Time speculated on the likely replacements for both Soldo and Lynch and what the Tigers’ forward set-up will look like this weekend.

Mabior Chol and Josh Caddy are in line to play while Shane Edwards is expected to return after coming through the quarantine hub.

“I think Mabior Chol will probably play a pretty important role over the weekend,” he added.

“You just go like for like. When I say like for like, Mabior probably has a stronger ability to play in the ruck than myself and Lynchy.

“He’s been playing good footy so he’ll come in I would have thought.

“Then after that, you’ve got to have a look and see which way you want to go.

“(Josh) Caddy’s played good football forward as well and been able to play tall. (Shane) Edwards comes out of the (quarantine) hub so he’ll train (today) which is exciting, so you’d think that he comes in.

“There’s some decisions to be made but I think we’ve shown over the last three years that we’ve got the ability to play different types of forwards.

“Guys like (Jason) Castagna, (Jake) Aarts and (Daniel) Rioli certainly can play well in the air as they can on the ground.”

Looks like the coaching staff have locked in both MacIntosh and Pickett as our designated wingman.

Caddy up forward makes sense as he’s already proven himself up there but I still worry about his lack of speed when Jack and Tom aren’t blessed with speed either.

I felt the same about Caddy late last year and he ended up owning a wing in the finals.

Is he better than Pickett or MacIntosh as a wingman? Maybe we should have another look at his final series last season.  :rollin  :shh
The club that keeps giving.

Caddy is a natural forward capable of kicking bags of goals, he should be in the team and playing forward.
