Anthony Miles retires at age 28 after 88 games

Miles played at GWS, Richmond and the Suns from 2012 onwards.

"I probably haven't had your typical 10-year career, but I am extremely grateful for the opportunities that my journey has afforded me," Miles said.

I thought he was good when at the Tiges, not a great kick but gathered a lot of the footy.

I had absolute huge wraps for Milo. He ultimately lost his place once we got prestia (who I don’t disagree is a significant upgrade) but I loved the way he went about it. He absolutely dominated vfl and I feel like he deserved a recall more than what actually eventuated. I also felt miles was dropped unfairly especially in 2018, basically getting the Shane tuck treatment.

Ultimately the club won 2 premierships without him so I can’t say the club got it wrong with selection but I do feel he was very close to our best 22 and especially in 2014 really contributed to us playing finals

The Pies lose another experienced player.

Collingwood defender Tom Langdon has called time early on his AFL career due to a degenerative knee injury.
