Horribly misleading stat

It’s burst speed over 5 metres to gain separation that matters , not what your high cruising speed is

Bolton for instance is far more electric than Graham ...

The top speed of Graham might have been after taking 50 metres to wind up

Agreed, its acceleration rather than top speed that counts.  I'll bet that the club have the figures that matter.     :cheers
