Channel 7 have just announced teams

Bolton and Meatie ins
Caddy and Ross out

Berry and Andrews in for Lions
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Ch10 said Caddy hardly did anything at training today. So that may be one reason he is out.

They’ve brought in 2 midfielders, who did you think was going to be dropped?

Pickett is a winger this year along with Kmac. Neither were going to be dropped.

We clearly weren't going to change our team structure of 3 small and two tall forwards. So two mids come in and two mids go out. The final choice would've been between Chol and Caddy as that 2nd tall forward. Chol can also play 2nd ruck and if Caddy wasn't right to fully train then the choice was made for Dimma and the match committee.

Pickett started the season poorly no doubt but I really think he has earned his spot this back end of the season. Still does a few annoying things but I don’t get why some would drop him.

I dont think he does enough. Getting the footy 10 times a game isnt really good enough.

Pickett's off the ball work harrassing and chasing since he came back into the side is also why he keeps his spot IMV.
