It was solid return and he will be better for the hit out.
A little outside than he normally plays but that may have been the plan.
Granted wasn’t damaging in the forward half but he worked hard both ways mostly in defence.
A little less output in the second half.

He will be better with a game under his belt.

Yeah I watched the game. Yes he got plenty of the ball

But.....

He got caught a few times because he was slightly of the pace of the game, lacked awareness.
They were momentum killers when we were getting back into the game.

He lacked match conditioning and it showed as the game went on

He was slightly off pace but wasn’t any more caught more than anyone of our midfielders tonight.
Bolton, Cotch Edwards And Martin all looked under pressure and below the pace at times.

Martin Nankervis and Cotchin all below 50% disposal efficiency.

The lions took our pressure up to us and beat us at our own game and didn’t allow us to get our forward handball game going at all.

Prestia in the other hand despite being under conditioned unlike all the others still managed to have a decent impact with his disposal especially out of the back half.

To suggest he shouldn’t of played is a massive call because he showed he was up to the task despite him being below his normal output.

Pickett was woeful tonight by foot. I don’t think he hit a target with any kick
His pressure was ok but he needs to learn that tackling is the goto in our game. Never bump!

Tigers gun confirms availability for must-win final

Key forward Tom Lynch has declared he will be a certain starter in Richmond’s crucial clash in the second week of finals.

The Tigers lost to the Lions on Friday night with the star unable to be passed fit for the clash.

However, Lynch has revealed he was surprised to not be given the all clear after training strongly last week, confirming he will play against St Kilda or the Western Bulldogs.

Lynch declared he trained at 80 per cent on Wednesday, with the club likely to recall the former Sun in the place of Mabior Chol.

“I thought I was fine. I ran Saturday and thought I was all good and ticked everything off and apparently not,” Lynch told AFL Nation.

“It was very touch and go, but I was as surprised as everyone.

“The medical team, I think they just weren’t convinced I was 100 per cent. I’ve never done a hamstring before so I guess I’m not the best person to get advice off.

“I think they just thought it was too big of a risk and to give myself another week.

“I did a big session Saturday and thought I did everything well, but Damien Hardwick rang me Monday and said we’re not going to go with you.”

Cotchin said he expected Tom Lynch to play the semi-final on Friday against the Saints after he missed the qualifying final.

"My understanding he is training really well and I think it is just a matter of ticking off the main session this week and [then] he'll be available to play, which is really exciting for our group."

Richmond will almost certainly regain spearhead Tom Lynch, and not a moment too soon. The struggling Mabior Chol is the man who will most likely make way for the former Gold Coast co-captain, who will ironically play a final at Metricon Stadium before the Suns have managed to do so.

Dual premiership players Josh Caddy and Nathan Broad were both emergencies against Brisbane and on the cusp of selection. Broad has been trialled in the ruck at the lower level and could theoretically support Toby Nankervis.

Jake Aarts was quiet against Brisbane and looks the most vulnerable of Richmond's small forwards.

I have no idea why anyone would want Caddy to play. He’s only ever been an option in our forward line when we’ve had one key forward. So slow.
Broads an interesting one.
Would he be able to replace Pickett and then pinch hit in the ruck?
Pickett is a 50:50 atm
