As WP said in the game thread, definitely our greatest ever premiership.
We had to do it the hard way in more ways than one:
- Season totally different to any other and constantly changing thanks to covid.
- We're written off early after the season restarted;
- Copped injuries as well as losing senior players for personal/family reasons;
- Our culture was bagged;
- We were constantly slagged off by the usual Richmond haters in the media as well as opposition supporters;
- We had to go the long way after losing the QF including beating Port Adelaide at the Adelaide Oval in front of their feral supporters;
- Then we top it off we came from 22 points down and being on the ropes in the Granny to win running away with it in the end to go back-to-back.
- All of this while spending 108 days in the hub in Qld far away from home.
Only the greatest of premiership teams could do all that!
