* They replayed his appearance on the show 10 years ago when Benny was questioned about saying at the time that our aim is to win 3 flags by 2020.

* Benny tonight said running a football club is an ongoing process. There's no beginning & no end. Praised former prez Gary March & his predecessor Steven Wright for stabilising the club financially and stopping the bleeding. Everyone is committed from the board, admin, footy dept., etc. All moving in one direction.

* This year has been a challenging environment. 30 days initially planned has become 100 days. Been hard. Proud of everyone. Thanked the AFL for what they've done to put on & get through a complete season.

* We're about putting people first. Cotch puts his family first, second & third. Thought initially about returning home but that was only for short time. We worked things out together.

* Lots of work went into Dusty's deal thanks to Dan Richardson & Blair Hartley. Dusty's exterior can hide the Dusty underneath.

Dusty is uber-professional, merticulous, he's up at 5:30am every morning for a run & swim. He has game awareness. He is team-orientated, loves his teammates & they love him. A special person.

* Gale is mindful of what is going on regarding 2020 and covid. We've lost 30 people. Been a tough balancing act between running a club and dealing with relationships. No sugar coating it. It's been challenging.

* Scott's comments?
Gale doesn't really deal with that stuff. Geelong is a formidable team in form. We won't require extra motivation. We will need to play at our best.

* Next AFL boss or politician talk on ABC outsiders?
They know something he doesn't. Loves what he does & the people at the club. Continue building on the strengths of the club.

* Sure the AFL will put on a good show on Saturday.

WE DID IT!
