Rate a Tiger's year - Jack Graham?
« on: November 09, 2020, 02:36:39 PM »
Next up is Graham:

In his 4th season, Jack played 16 games out of 21 to take his career tally to 55. Despite the shortened matches this season, Graham averaged 15 disposals per game which was his career second best return. After missing out on our 2019 flag due to 'that' shoulder injury, his courage in last year's Prelim was finally rewarded with his second premiership medallion.

Season Highlights:
23 disposals & 3 goal assists vs Essendon (Round 13, 2020)
21 disposals & 8 tackles vs Adelaide (Round 18, 2020)
18 disposals & 1 goal vs Fremantle (Round 15, 2020)
16 disposals & 9 tackles vs Brisbane (Qualifying Final, 2020)
16 disposals & 8 tackles vs Gold Coast (Round 12, 2020)
16 disposals, 4 marks & 6 tackles vs Sydney (Round 6, 2020)

I gave him a 9.

Coming back from a shoulder reco is bloody tough. As the season went on and he got confidence back in that shoulder he was outstanding

Would love to know his tackling numbers in the last 6 weeks of the season, reckon that would tell a story in itself

Future captain  :thumbsup

Thought he was more a 6 or 7 but with a bullet. Remembering that he was dropped at one point.
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

“I felt a part of it but deep down you’re not… but then to win this one, that’s why it’s so special and means a lot to me.” 💛

Gave a 7.

Solid year and tremendous pressure effort.

This guy is a grunt but a good one.
