Votes for Round 6, Tiges vs Bombers
« on: May 06, 2006, 10:28:59 PM »
3. Polo - what a debut.
2. Joel - general in defence. Apart from 5 minutes in the last when Lucas got away from him, Joel did well.
1. Newman - gave Hird a spanking and rebounded well.

Apologies Tuck, Hartigan, Hyde, Kellaway, Tivs, Cogs.

Raines did alright although he got caught a couple of times.
Cleve didn't get much of it but kicked crucial goals when we needed them unlike Pettifer who got heaps of it but shanked every shot.

Polo - 3
Pettifer - 2 I thought he was really good especially when Richo was being held by McPhee. Gave us a target across half-forward and should have kicked at least 3.
Bowden - 1 Class.

Wasn't his best game, but he's still taking risks and taking them on even when he gets caught.  He's playing the game plan well i reckon.

2 - Polo (fantastic game on debut, kicked 2 vital goals and never took a backward step)
1 - Tiv (once again ran hard and gave us good drive, also used the footy well)  :thumbsup

3 - Polo - excellent

2 - Newman - gave Jimmy Hird a spanking

1 - Tivendale - great pressure goal in the last but we wont talk about that dropped mark 2 minutes later  ::) :-\ ;D

The Golden Turnup - now because I have lost my voice and I am not feeling 100% and more importantly we won I will be generous a save it till next week but a word of caution to one M Coughlan - continue kicking those crappy hospital, floating, dinky left foot "kicks" (and believe me I use the term kicks very very loosely >:  :banghead :banghead :banghead) then you are gonna get a nomination. Get a copy of the tape son and see how you drilled a pass in the 3rd after kicking with your right foot and why we Tiger fans are screaming for you to do that more

3- Bowden- great user of the ball
2- Polo
1- Tivendale- his importance to the side was revealed when Wallace put him on the ball to stop the bombers flow in the last.

Hartigan,Tuck and Hyde rounded out my best players.

3 - POLO : showed poise and class under pressure. kids like him  are making our exp men look like tools

2 - Newman : Hird always kills us, and newman stitched him up. gr8 effort and deserves to be acknowledged

1 - Raines : never say die, never quit attitude! once again beat his man and lead the way.

apol to Tuck , Petts, harts, hyde and joel
Joel, did a fantastic job, but should have tightened up on lucas during that rampage
Petts, played the best and worst game of his life, his getting the pill, but bad kicking is bad footy
Tuck, machine, but could squueze him in the votes
Harts as above, couldnt squeeze him in, but his run along with raines has been a plus, following tw game plan perfectly
Hyde, see tuck, and cogs, take a leaf out of hydes book and learn something
