Harry McKay is reportedly being aggressively targeted by rival clubs, according to Garry Lyon.

Scumbaggers would let Cripps go before McKay... :shh

“Perth sources tell me it’s not actually the money or the tenure that’s going to keep him at Fremantle or make him leave.

“He loves the club, he loves his teammates, it’s purely whether he wants to live in Perth from a lifestyle and family perspective, or whether he wants to come home to Victoria and live in Melbourne.”

“Fremantle have offered Cerra a four-year deal, and I understand it’s worth somewhere between $700,000 and $750,000 a year,” Morris reported on AFL Tonight.

If Cerra did decide to leave, he would need to be traded, which would earn the Dockers “certainly a top 10 pick ... maybe even top five or six given he’s a ready-made player with four years in the system,” Morris said.

“But if he hasn’t signed on by Round 13 or 14, if I was Freo, I’d be slightly worried.

“It’s more of a lifestyle or footy decision, but his name will be at the top of everyone’s whiteboard - don’t believe for a second it’s just Carlton or just Essendon that’s chasing Cerra, a whole line of Victorian clubs will line up to get him if he’s still unsigned in eight weeks’ time.”

Hearing we [Richmond] have renewed our interest in Charlie Constable given our midfield injuries this year.

Live trade chat with Tom Morris from Foxsports

Q. Do you think Richmond will take its picks to the draft or will they surprise a few and trade for a big name?

Tom Morris: They could easily top up and go again. Why not? Have a crack while you can.

Q. Will Darcy Moore be a option? Considering the age profile of Dylan Grimes and Astbury?

Tom Morris: Moore becomes a free agent at the end of 2022. I can't see the Pies allowing him to go before then, even if he wants to.

Q. Hi Tom any whispers about Richmond getting Tom Green from GWS

Tom Morris: Can't see GWS allowing that to happen

Q. Sources tell me the tigers are heavily into Tom Green and he has family connections there as his grandfather is a 4 x premiership player

Tom Morris: Just because a club likes a player it doesn't mean he will get there.

Tom Morris also reckons clubs will target Ross:

Q. Watching Fremantle it's pretty clear they need a big body in the midfield because they look rather small without one of Mundy or Fyfe in there. Anyone on their radar?

Tom Morris: They are looking for midfielders, that's true. I really like Jack Ross from Richmond and reckon clubs should target him.

If we had picked I'd be interested in Nathan Freeman

Word is clubs are generally cool on Freeman...apparently getting high numbers but not doing much with it - not damaging enough. :shh

No idea why anybody would want Ross

Maybe they haven't forgotten his initial form before his injury, that he's an on-baller not a flanker and perhaps they intend to get him on the carbs and back into the weights room.... :shh :shh

Like Matt Arnott playing forward haha.

I agree taking weight off him has been a huge failure, but then how do we know the footy injury hasn't ruined him either? I'd be keen to see him bulk up and go inside mid again but I wonder if he peaked early. His form in full games hasn't warranted ongoing selection.

Dio, did you call up SEN on this Saturday just gone to talk about Ross?

A clearly well-versed Richmond fan called up to discuss this exact point and I thought it might have been you.
