Trade out Tom Lynch. He got his flags we got rewarded as a club now move him on and save a million a year on the salary cap

Out-of-contract Saints duo Jack Billings and Luke Dunstan are unlikely to be at the club next season, according to senior foxfooty.com.au reporter Tom Morris.

Kane Cornes has named North Melbourne and the Gold Coast Suns as potential suitors for discarded Crow Tom Lynch.

Not sure anyone would want to pay him $1mil.

We'd have to pay a good portion of it.

But it's true. He had a good 2019 and had been quite poo ever since.

Yes he's had a poor season, some of it not his fault

But it's one season. Been injured,  played injured and has struggled.... let's see what 2022 brings

He won't be traded and he shouldn't be.

Personally, have faith he will turn it around. Could be this week... he kicks a bag and his poor form will be forgotten pretty quickly I reckon

Could do worse than picking up Dunstan or Billings as free agents..... :shh

I honestly don't think we can afford anyone at the moment and that's just a fact of being successful.  You reward your current players.

Need to cut some blokes/$$$ too.

Houli should go. Astbury should be considered too. Cotchin has a year to see out but that will be his last.

There's guys around 30 that will be finishing up in 1-3 years so we can always plan ahead and back-load contracts but don't want to do ourselves a Collingwood.

Club did a good thing using the Rance money to adjust and front load some contracts but you have to wonder if the Lynch one will come back to haunt us. Also wonder if Dusty's best is behind him or if he really has been playing hurt most of the year.

Depends on retirements, delistings, trades etc.....would probably have to offer a heavily back ended contract to whoever we might target....this is where good list managers  earn their keep.... :shh

As for Dusty - if there's no long term effects then the kidney injury was probably a blessing in disguise because he really need to be rested from his other injuries... :shh :shh

See the Crows won't be re-signing Talia

Any interest in him just as a back up key defender?

Very surprised. Thought he was a good defender.
