Lol, with the late picks we have had due to being last pick in most of those years along with the rookies we picked up , I would suggest it’s a good effort, as you can only pick what’s available .

Bit early to judge the last two years especially considering the circumstances....not sure you can count blokes who requested trades a busts either..not as if we misjudged their ability.....:shh

Yeah it’s a wait and see on most. Hopefully 2-3 in each draft class can come good.

True, look at our best players and most would be in the top 20 picks. This year it’s fairly even to pick 30 per those in the know.
I’m hoping with a better hand this year we will get a few right.

I think Dow Ralphsmith look ok. I dont rate Martyn at the miment. Ryan may be ok down the track but right now its not great.

Of all of them, RCD looks like having the best attributes to play in the midfield at a high level.
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

HRT, agree with you, he has promising attributes, personally I like the way he is tracking, fingers crossed

Having no tank is not a great midfield trait....

Don't see it myself.

Medium forward with midfield stints for me, sort of like Stringer.

Tank isn't there, but he can win contested ball, take a mark and kick a goal.

Some of them just aren't long-distance runners...

Started racking up the possies in the VFL after he was dropped - a good sign that A) tank's improving and B) he learnt a lot from his AFL games... :shh

Having no tank is not a great midfield trait....

Having a massive tank is pretty rare for a 21 year old after 2 pre seasons……

A Freo supporter on their forum has proposed this:

Richmond 2,19 in for 7,15,26 out ..................... leaves Rich with 2,19,27,28.

GWS 6,7 in for 2,13 out .................................. leaves GWS with 6,7,53,71.

Fremantle 13,15,26 in for 6,19 out ................... leaves Freo with 8,13,15,26,61.

Only if we are really that keen on Callaghan, and he would need to be a dead set gun you'd think.

Or Ward.
