Hopefully only a fine for Dave. It was more a stupid act especially from a senior player. The Carlton player got up & played on.

Out Caddy

He wasn't good that's for sure. Absolutely not best 23.

I think a fine too, but who knows? Round 1 and we have 3 flags now. They might want to make an example...

Surprised people are calling for caddy to be dropped. Didn’t he think he set the world on fire but thought he was more than serviceable.

Think astbury should get a week. Silly action and he’s lucky he didn’t connect with the point of his elbow.

Assuming both vlas and astbury miss, cotch will obviously be one inclusion then you would think the other would be a tall defender to fill the role of the 2 outs. Maybe biggie makes his debut?

Other than that I thought broad was anonymous, ditto baker until the second half, Rioli and to a lesser extent aarts also anonymous for large parts but both ended up with 2 goals so can’t really drop them. Thought Ross was excellent when he came on and would prefer him in the side to Pickett who I thought was good in patches but made silly mistakes.

out: floss, caddy,

in: cotch and houli.

if astbury misses he has only himself to blame

as for caddy, small sample yes but he and pickett in the same team, well that is a pass for me

Baker still a big concern size a real issue many times last night.
Caddy lol continues to be gifted games. Rioli ah to have a famous name only reason he continues to get games imo.

Lastly if we dont have a better option for the wing than fumbles McIntosh then we are in strife.

Changes well depends on injury and suspensions.

Someone is coming out for cotchin for sure, for me that would be Rioli. The other thing id like to see is maybe RC-D finally be given a game in place of Caddy and somewhere along the line sooner than later  we get some games into a tall or two.

What to make of this post. Baker is part of the best back 6 in the comp. He doesn't need to be taller (although he constantly puts his body on the line in the hole) as he mops up and delivers amazing offence.
Caddy is solid and you must not really watch games closely enough to see what Rioli delivers during games. Regards to fumbles, his ability to runs the arcs makes him very valuable to how we play.
My tip would be to start looking at all the positives as there are many :shh

RCD has had opportunities to get a game ahead of others (Ross, Dow, Pickett, Caddy Aarts etc) especially during occasions when we had injuries with Cotchin Prestia Edwards etc. but for some reasons the match committee haven’t been persuaded by him ahead of anyone else which would indicate he isn’t doing the things they are looking for consistently enough.
My tip is that you especially won’t like RCD when ever and if ever we get to see him. Some have it and some don’t have it and I’m not convinced he has got the actual spice required for the real stuff.
I would love to be wrong though and enjoy watching him play 200 games.

Richmond has the luxury of waiting,RCD got injured at the wrong time , he will get a chance if he keeps on improving
Why do some supporters spend so much time potting players that play their role so we win premierships, I’m pretty sure the selection committee knows who’s playing ok better than us
