I know plenty of the younger tiger supporters about the place will disagree but in my 60 odd yrs as a tiger supporter Roachy is the best FF i have seen at our club.

People dont realise but imo the time he played he was literally belted out of the game.

Hard to compare different eras. Jack & Lynch would've loved the openness of 80s footy for forwards to lead into.

At least these days we know how to play two quality key forwards in the same team and make it work unlike when we had Roach & BT  :P. IIRC back then either Roach was pushed into the ruck (hello sending a Ferrari to do a plough's job) or BT was dropped.

Lynch’s best footy was when he was on one leg in his first year. Been underwhelming since the 2019 Prelim Final. Needs to lift.
