Back to starting midfield for the last - CCJ, Ross, RCD and Martyn.

Ross out of the centre to Street at HF. Finds Melville at 40. Ordinary kick though and it's turned over.

We get it back on the wing via Nathan. Off to Chol who goes inside 50. Stack gathers off the pack and hands to Maurice jnr who snaps a goal  :gotigers.

Rich  11.14-80
Sandy  3.9-27

Didn't see the incident but a Sandy player has been reported for something against Melville.

We've switch off. Last two goals to Sandy.

Ryan as a mobile tall forward with a good kick would be a nightmare for the opposition.

Ross - was best to half-time. Killed it in the middle. Looked like he was being managed in the 2nd half spending time off the ground then having bursts on.

RCD - one of his best games. A more complete well-rounded game. Worked and won the ball inside & outside and chased and tackled well.

CCJ - aside from the 3rd quarter, he was the best big man on the ground for mine. Spent time rotating between ruck and forward. Tap work was good and he kicked 2 goals.

Ryan - Spent today mostly up forward. Dead eye dick with his goalkicking today. I didn't think he was that influential today as previous games. He did kick 2 of his 3 goals in the last quarter.

Martyn - got enough of the ball but his disposal was a bit off today.

M.Rioli - first half was spent as a small forward before being moved on ball for a lot of the 2nd half. Kicked 2 ground level goals. Still not ready for AFL but what he does is special. Once these cameos turn into regularly getting the ball he's going to be scary. Nails players in tackles.

Garth, DES, Naish and Chol had their typical games.

Stack - didn't get a lot of it but he was managed. When he was on the ground his effort looked committed. IMO the coaches would be satisfied with his first game back.

Of our VFL-listed player, Henderson in defence and Melville were most impressive.
