Parish deserved the medal. Killed us out of the guts especially after half-time and his efforts got them the lead before we turned it around in the last 10 mins.

We needed that win. Looked dicey in the last.


Castagna found the footy which was needed as he has been rubbish best game for a while (94% efficiency)
RCD was quiet and struggled to find the footy when not in the guts and spent a lot of time on the bench as did Caddy as both only had about 60% game time.

Aarts was good but why he didn’t handpass to Dusty is beyond comprehension he was super lucky not to get HTB.
Dusty was immense but his disposal can be very very sloppy at times. I think teams are going at him better than they have and not getting fooled by the fend off so those are probably factors. He just does things that help the team win.
Chol was awesome in the first quarter. If he can string 4 quarter it would be amazing.

I hope Grimes is ok, he got a big hit from Tippa.
I hope Prestia isn’t serious as he is an awesome midfielder and just a bull in the guts.

The umps were kind to us for once.
Anyway good win in the end and a good boost in percentage.

Great to get up in the end but it didn't look like it for a bit. I still think we went in one tall down, Pickett in the ruck just doesn't work and Dimma should already know it from previous games. Happy to get out with the points.

Great spectacle and stadium. Kudos to the Perth crowd for packing it out.

The only thing I have a negative is the prematch entertainment. I know they only had a week to arrange it but;

-  it was extremely poor from what I could see on the tv. It’s as if they grabbed a bunch of indigenous people from the local park and asked them to do some tribal dancing for a few minutes for a few bucks

- why weren’t they allowed on the ground? It’s big enough there’s plenty of ground to do some sort of prematch ceremony.

- if not the ground why not a designated stage area - on the steps in the aisles was just tacky and poorly designed.

I’ve attended many of these and it’s a little hit and miss sometimes the prematch is very well arranged and other times it seems to be put together last minute. I personally think the Anzac eve game is a much better prematch and seems to be organised a lot better than dreamtime.
I reckon they could do so much better job than they’ve done and you’d think “dreamtime” being a massive resource itself to build from.

Jack Graham was outstanding and for me was BOG. Was highly impressed by his game. Bolton was impressive as was Chol and Noah. Much better game from George.

RCD and Caddy very quiet. Concern for me is our wing positions still seem to be a problem.

Gee Prestia and then Edwards comes back and suddenly RCD's not attending the centre bounces and getting less touches...well duh.....kid played his role well enough under the circumstances...
