By half-time Parker was one of our best with 3 goals and looked like he was on a mission to make his old side pay for getting rid of him. Like many of his teammates went missing in the last 1.5 quarters.

Was super early. Thought it would have been one of those satisfying stuff you efforts to an old club but didn't pan out by the end

Dimma post-game talking about Matty Parker:

"Yeah he was good. He wins the ball and is quite dynamic. He's quite hard to play on as he can play at ground level but also be explosive in the air. So he's playing some really good footy. There's things he does very well and there's also some areas in his game like most players we'd like him to get better at. He's working on those. He was a contributor tonight and he had a good game last week as well and we like what he brings."

Not a fan, has no upside. He’d be decent depth if we were in premiership window. But he’s just taking a kids spot right now

He went alright for mine, showed a lot of courage winning contested ball, slotted goals, and shone where others wilted in a flogging. fmd what else can you ask of a bargain recruit?

Im with Simonator looking long term. But im with you atm he has had two good games and it would be unfair to drop atm. Thats not the message we need to send.
There are plenty of more highly rated blokes atm who need a kick up the arse and games in the two's.

And his turnovers that resulted in goals to Adelaide

Dud.

Yeah sorry we surely have higher expectations than Parker. Belongs at GC or Roos in their 2nds not our 1sts.

yep agree always the trouble his disposal and panic attacks,  came back to bite hard.
Even the most one eyed supporter must realise he is taking games away from a younger player and he is not the way fwd.

What i don't get is people will complain about this bloke but tolerate the same sort of things from  Castagna.

I’m not a huge advocate for Georgie but to compare his output to Parker over their careers is laughable
