A goal down at half-time.

HT: Two goals to five for the quarter sees  @sandyzebs

leading by a goal at the main break.

A highly contested first half and we looked dangerous once we got speed on the game.

Summary of first half:

We cracked into multiple contests through the corridor, won the ball back, ending with Garret McDonagh driving the ball deep to Noah Cumberland.  Cumberland slotted the set-shot for our first goal of the afternoon. SAND 0 RICH 7

We kept the ball alive inside 50, with Riley Collier-Dawkins fighting through a tackle, flicking a handball to Patrick Naish, who snapped truly on his right boot. SAND 0 RICH 13

Dynamic transition by hand from D50 to half forward leads to Riley Collier-Dawkins sliding through a right-foot checkside for our third goal of the quarter. SAND 1 RICH 19

RCD with another right-foot checkside Banana. SAND 13 RICH 25

QT: A frenetic opening term as we looked to challenge Sandringham in the contest and force turnovers in our front half. We're linking up well in transition and look dangerous and dynamic inside 50 once the ball hits the deck.
SAND 2.1 (13) to RICH 4.1 (25)

Ruckman for the day, Lachlan Street kicks our first goal of Q2. SAND 13 RICH 31

Jack Ross intercepts the ball at half-back, switches the ball to Hugo Ralphsmith who burns down the outer wing and pumps the ball inside 50. The ball comes to ground and Thomson Dow crumbs and snaps truly. SAND 27 RICH 37

Good transition from defence but we only get a point to start the 3rd.

Since I've been watching we've been playing like the seniors last night  :P.

Ross' defensive clearance is OOTF. Sandy forward then outmarks Garth and Mansell and kicks a goal.
