RFC Forwards
« on: June 25, 2021, 10:28:12 PM »
Been or problem all year. Lost count after 16 inside 50 for 0 goals.

WHO is our forward coach? Absolute donkey status hasn't been working all season and protecting Castagna.

It's it fair to say the loss of some quality assistants have had a big impact?

Aarts 1 goal in 3..

How Castagna gets a regular game is astonishing

Why we continue to kick high balls in baffles me, our only decent crumber seems to be aarts, the ball is kicked to a static target, we are better running onto it, just dumb footy imho

Agree I thought tonight was a chance to kick to storage with some peace running into it like Bolton, Aarts, Martin being dangerous.

We got belted with contested ball in our forwardline. Don't think Saints marked that often. But as soon as ball hit the floor the just ran it out.

McIntosh is the biggest offender butchers it every time he kicks inside 50.

The positioning of our small forwards has been poor all year. They are constantly caught in no-man's land so we don't have crumbers at the fall of the ball. Rioli isn't the only one who needs re-education on forward craft.

That’s because he missed his foot the other six times he tried to kick it.  :rollin

on the site it says x clarke and he is also our vfl coach?

if it is then he should hang his head in shame as his performance has been woeful, though it worked the year before so i wonder who looked after it then.

Its also the midfield and forward 50 entries that kill us. Not entirely on the forward coach, but as a group we are in all sorts.

Not much in the way of big man depth here.

Chol - Dud give him to GC hopefully they’ll give us some good picks.

✅CCJ - looks ok so far but can we keep him?

Garthwaite - Callum Moore 2.0. - we really keep duds on the list way too long.

Reiwoldt -  last year should be our third string forward getting easy goals on a third string backman.

✅Lynch - injury prone slow as treacle dinosaur that only plays well when playing in front or on the lead.

We need some tall timber up and coming big bodied key position forwards

Can we make a play for the West Coke kid Oscar Allen?

Surely we aren’t putting our hopes in Garthwaite?
