Borrowing this question from trade radio.

If you could have one player from your club, ranging from the 80's to now, that would fit the biggest need at your club, who would it be?

ps. Silvangi and Rendell's choices for Richmond:

SOS - Matthew Richardson

Matt Rendell - Maurice Rioli

Tough call. Plenty of top picks

Maurice Rioli,
Geoff Raines
Nathan Brown
Matthew Richardson
Alex Rance

Then there is Ben Cousins

But Richo for mine

Daryl Freame, for setting up the magic moment in the 1980 GF. He could recreate that each week.

Don't remember either of them playing in the 80's... :shh

Stick with blokes who didn't win flags:

Richo
Rioli Sr
Knights
Turner
Ottens (well he didn't win one with us)
Tuck
C.Lambert
Broderick
Maxfield
Deledio
Pre-injury Brown
Pre-injury Foley
Pre-injury Cogs
Pre-injury Thursty (not joking)

Andrew Krakouer & Marty McGrath in a professional enviroment... :shh :shh

Richard Lounder likewise... :santa

He won a flag in '80, but he also played on into the '80's - The Ghost, Jimmy Jess!

From the home grown stocks -
Richo, of course ...
Michael Roach.
Flea.
KB.
Maurice.

From the recruits -
Graham Landy.
Barry Rowlings.
Robert Wiley.
John Annear.

Once a Tiger, always a Tiger!  Loud, proud & dangerous!

Stick with blokes who didn't win flags:

Tuck

Vale Tucky.

I suspect in our current coaching environment (simple instructions, team first ethos) with chaos ball and center clearances being crucial Tucky would be a huge asset. We sure could use someone to win clearances and--at least until the rules were changed--his questionable kicking would not have been such an issue.
