Who is the best No.2 draft pick of all-time? (afl site)
« on: October 21, 2021, 03:43:16 PM »
Poll from the AFL website:

Christian Petracca    25%
Trent Cotchin           24%
Nigel Lappin            17%
Jarryd Roughead     17%
Nick Naitanui          14%
Luke Ball                  2%
Josh Kelly                 1%

Matt Primus (1995), Brad Ottens (1997), Daniel Wells (2002), Dale Thomas (2005) all enjoyed outstanding careers, but fell just short of making the final cut.

In 2019, AFL national talent ambassador Kevin Sheehan nominated the greatest players selected at each pick and gave the nod to Trent Cotchin.

Lol what a crock.

Recency bias is a thing. I remember 7afl running an Instagram poll of it the team is down by 5 points with a minute left on the clock and you’re carlton. Centre bounce, who do you want in he middle, Williams or Cripps.

It was staggering how many people went with Cripps.
