I was at a game vs Hawthorn, brereton punched Tony Free in the back of the head 40m away from play, broke Tony’s jaw, he never played again.
That was a king hit

That was Round 19, 1994. Freezer missed the next 4 weeks but made it back for the final round of that season.

Tearing his ACL in Round 5, 1995 ended his career. Came back for one game the following year but the knee wasn't right and he never played again  .

VFL must be confident they will get up on an appeal. Doesn't auger well for Sonsie. Hope I am wrong but think he is going to get a much harsher penalty.
