Negatives:
-D50 transition is horrible. Geelong players everywhere.
-Forwards aren’t high up to the contest.
-No small forwards with forwards and Jack, Lynch doing it all.
-Same old from last year.
-Dusty doesn’t look right.
-Grimes not playing as well?

Positives:
-Dow, nice things.
-Ross, getting around it but poor decisions.
-Ralph, covering the ground well.
-Gibcus, for an 19 year old KD he looks decent.
-Miller, OK.
-Out of Miller and Gibcus for that R1 spot
-Prestia covering the ground well.
-Balta in the ruck is like another midfielder.

Ignoring the dodgy umps and their two different rules ::), we were ordinary that quarter. Geelong dominated with the ball mostly in their forward half aside from a 5 min patch when we got our goals. Too sloppy when we had the ball and burnt on the spread on defensive transition.

Our talls are doing well. It's our mids and small forwards that need to lift in the contest and work harder put pressure on Geelong further upfield.

Fair enough summary torch. Agree with most of it.

Dusty is protecting himself. Not sure if it's deliberate given it's a preseason match or he is still a bit nervous about copping another knock to that kidney region. There was one groundball contest in the first quarter where Dusty didn't go in and put his body in for a bump and instead waited for the Geelong player to take possession and then tackle him.

Don't know who looks more lost - Balta up forward, Aarts down back or our KPD's without Grimes... :shh

Surge footy just punching the ball on. Got out the back. Jack across to Sheds to Bakes (not sure why) who kicks a goal  :gotigers.

Rich  8.4-52
Geel  5.13-43

Dusty with the centre clearance. Finally some forward pressure by our small forwards. Great tackle Jack. Wins the HTB free 40 out. Goal!  :gotigers

Soldo free in the ruck at HF. Kicks to the hot spot. Brilliant by Bolton. In the air, kept his feet and goals  :gotigers.

Poor defending. Ballwatching. Reactive and too loose. A clear chance to win the ball in the backline from Cameron's poor pass but we were asleep  :banghead.

Since quarter time our decision making and disposal into and inside our F50 has been bloody ordinary.

Errant handball by Tarrant in defence then gives away the free  :P.

Geelong on top. We can't maintain possession.

These long bombs outside D50 ain't working. We just keep kicking it to Stewart and co. Since Lynch has gone off our structure ahead of the ball has broken down unless we can get it over the top and out the back.

Jack has a long ping for a point.

Stengle has 4.

Poor defending once again. First hands, fumble and we cough up a goal.
