Unfortunately I missed it.
Anyone watch the game? Looks like we had a solid win.

Looks like RCD had 12 disposals only? Did he play forward pocket? I’d hope so because there’s not much hope if he played midfield all game.

Martyn only 9?

Does anyone know? Who looked good inside the guts?

RCD is doing stuff on the inside which doesnt get on the stat sheet that I like. I thought he was good. Better still I thought everyone of our draftees showed plenty. Maurice Jnr a bonus he has improved too.

Your taking the pee right? :lol :rollin

If not, thanks Ramps for your opinion but I’d like some clarification if that’s ok.
What position was he playing? What is it that he is supposedly doing that you liked? Do you think he is ready to move up to senior footy and a make similar impact to our clearances?

RCD got way more than 12 touches.  I'm guessing the handballs from the bottom of a pack or in a contest got missed.  At least they got the 8 tackles right.  And yes he played midfield and if we didn't get the clearance he prevented a number of Southport centre clearance wins from being effective by tackling or pressuring the disposal for a turnover.

Thanks HK. Described it perfectly.

I dont think Martyn will make it. Way too slow footy at AFL level.

RCD had 12 disposals he had a few more touches but if doesn't learn to fight tackles he will be a bust.

He is built like Tarzan so he needs to play like him.

Does anyone think he showed enough to get a senior gig?

If we get flogged today I think he comes in next week. But im really excited by our new draftees. They all showed good things. We may have gotten ourselves a very decent group of 5 draftees.

When he's played AFL his tackling has been an absolute strength

His 1st game his first 2 involvements were tackles at the centre bounce
