Out:
Edwards
George
Parker
RCD
Dow if hurt

In
Ralph if fit
Sonsie
Lambert if fit
Stack
Anybody really...

Dow was subbed due to performance tonight not injury me thinks. Was unbelievably poor. Still young and shows good signs but got a major lesson tonight.

Agree. Two shocking turnover kicks tonight.

Still don’t know that subbing him was the right option though.

100% Dow was subbed out due to poor effort.

The one disappointment of the night was many players gave a poor effort. Not the Richmond we know.

So many sub par performances based on that game you could drop 10.Thing is its not just been this week.

How about we address some of the things we keep on getting belted in. Also what is wrong with trying to find some players who can actually use the ball well.

If people are honest that game could easily have been a belting. The beltings will come though if we don't do something about the players with poor skills and not performing. Absolutely belted in I50, Clearances and contested ball again, and the skill of  some is killing us also.

Would be great if they can give RC-D another game but on that performance you could not blame them for dropping him if they do. Would also like to see them show some faith in Dow if he is not injured. The kids a surely allowed a bad game just like the others who stink it up and keep on getting picked.

Would not hesitate to drop Parker, Castagna, Edwards, McIntosh, and they will likely drop RC-D and Dow could be injured.

Not sure what is up with Pickett but him Lambert, Miller who should never have been dropped, Stack, Sonsie, and Ralphsmith would be in my calculations.
What will likely happen is a couple of experienced players will get a gig at the expense of probably RC-D and Dow.. and the usual suspects will get away with another poor performance.

Maurice Jnr deserves a gane before Sonsie atm.
His pressure is elite but his disposal will kill us. It’s way off standard at the minute.
I’m not sure Sonsie is ready either. I’d like to see him string more consistent performances together before he gets an AFL game.
The club that keeps giving.

Bring in Stack and Maurice Jnr. Need Stack's aggression at the contest.

Stack is a must due to this reason.

The injury to Dow makes perfect sense as he was way off the pace the other night. Rest up and bring it when you return young man.

In the Mix: Round 7

Sarah Black
afl.com.au
27 April 2022

Developing midfielder Thomson Dow is likely to be rested after two consecutive thigh corks. Kane Lambert and Dylan Grimes need to get through training to be considered, with Grimes the less likely of the two to play. Coach Damien Hardwick revealed post-match Ivan Soldo has undergone minor toe surgery but is still a chance to play. Jake Aarts put in another strong VFL performance (21, 10 tackles), while Sydney Stack had eight clearances. Veteran Shane Edwards (seven disposals) was uncharacteristically quiet, as was Jason Castagna (seven).

Verdict: Lambert and Stack for Dow and Castagna.

"Both Lambert and Grimes got through today's training session and look set to return this week for the Tigers."

I would go:
Out:  Dow (inj), Castagna, Edwards, Ross, Parker
In: Lambert, Grimes, Stack, Sonsie, Banks (Lambert or Stack the sub)
Play Sonsie as a forward, Banks at half back move Short up the ground.

You have to give RCD another go and a few games.  Ross getting plenty of the ball but ultimately doesn't use it well enough.
Considered Biggy for Tarrant but cannot go in to young. Grimes helps Tarrant a fair bit

Interesting week at selection

Miller or Biggie to be called up which is good as Tarrant looks like he needs a week off.

Think Tarrant needs more than a week off, he's been exceptionally poor the last 2 weeks in particular

Miller in.
