Would be interesting to see what the Crows would want for Meesan. I would assume Clark will probably retire and they will get Hudson back from injury and still have Biglands. They also have Ivan Maric who seems to have moved ahead of Meesan, and another young ruckman in Jonathon Griffin so they may be tempted to let him go for the right price. Personally I don't think the ruck is a huge priority for us, Simmonds will be around for quite a while, Knobel is a handy backup and they both give Pattison and Graham time to develop with Hall able to fill in when needed. Certainly would be happy to get him for the right price though.
Gardiner is a cancer and I would object strongly to us getting him. He has shown no signs of improving his off-field behaviour so we shouldn't be going anywhere near him. I also don't see the point in recruiting anyone that old. Chances are by the time we are able to contend for a premiership they would be gone, so what's the point (especially with his injury history, 126 games in 9 seasons)? We need to be building from the bottom up, not the top down. His form has been pretty poor since coming back from injury, I don't think we should be taking a risk on a player like that. I'm not convinced he is over his injuries, hasn't played a game yet this season.
