Back for now while jack is still going. When jack retires, we’ll need someone to support lynchy. Could either be him or a drafted/traded forward.

Great defender. Has potential to be an even better forward but a bit difficult to get him there when our tall defenders aside from him are just absolute battlers. Tarrant is fine to play on the likes of Casboult who don't have much pace but he just gets cut up on the real quality forwards now that he's lost a yard, so Balta has to play down back for now.

We don't need our other defenders KP to be stars we never had that , but now we have Gibcus a star. That's why I like to see more exposure for Miller and even Biggie.

We literally had a guy named Alex Rance.

Gibcus is extremely young and I wouldn't be classing him as key position right now. I do want to see Miller get games where it makes sense to find out properly if he's worth keeping around

I think we should keep him in defence for now he was apparently tracking better than Rance at the same age. He might end up being the greatest defender since Rance.

Do we need a forward absolutely so maybe we should recruit another couple.

If Miller and Biggie turn out ok then yes we could afford to move him forward or as a mobile ruck.

I’d love to see him play on the wing one game though.
The club that keeps giving.

Maybe later in his career.

I think we can’t play three talls. If Jack or Lynchy go down he could go forward but we are a better side when he plays defence

He reminds me of Harry Taylor in the sense that Down back is where he’s most influential on the game. There were these moments where Harry Taylor would kick bags but then also ultimately he became a liability. My gut tells me backline and up to play wing at the very most.

If the question is where he should play right now well it's down back at the moment. If the question is where is his best position then I do think up foward he will kill it when it's set up for him and Lynch. Jack, Lynch and him didn't really work as I would have ave liked as it didn't suit our tumble the ball forward, choas style game as we were 1 small less than we needed (2 if you count Costagna).

We look a much better team with Balta in the backline.

At this point in his career I think it suits his strengths better
