7news saying a crowd of just 52k expected tonight.

If it was a weekend game it would be 70k+.
Wonder how much $$$ the club has lost/missed out on due to these midwinter school night Thursday nighters?

Cripps and Hewett to combine for 10+ clearances
What we've got to limit tonight. If we can at least match them in the clearances then that will go a long way to us winning.

Our defenders also need to bring the ball to ground. I think it was on Fox Footy they said that if Curnow or McKay don't mark it then they mostly have little influence at ground level. Lynch is kind of the same for us but Jack is still handy at ground level.

Of course we've got to make the most of our opportunities up forward unlike last week (hello Bolton & Jack).

Doing ok so far in the clearances. Having Prestia makes a difference.

Very misty here BTW.

Defence holding up so far

Missing a small crumber/pressure forward. Only Bolton looks threatening once the ball hits the ground.

Is it bad that being up 38-4 just gives me anxiety because I'm still scared they'll blow it?

Geez Geez Jack looks so finished. His ability to contest the ball is almost non-existent. Doesn't even bother to do more than jog when defending.

Very wasteful going forward the last 15min. Nothing to show for it despite great opportunities.

My word the blues fans are stupid.
It’s like they don’t have any idea on the rules absolutely going ape poo at every decision and non-decision. I was like far out we must be getting all the free kicks by the way these bozos are carrying on
Had a look and they were leading the free kicks 9 to 7   :help

They are so one eyed it’s ridiculous, although I heard crickets when McKay took the touched mark and kicked a goal although they called for a fifty even though every man and his dog could see it was touched except the umpire standing 5 metres away.  :banghead

I hope we smash them and show them how rubbish their club is again.
The club that keeps giving.

Im a bit disappointed in short. His disposal tonight has been ordinary going inside 50.

Yeah, but I thought Clarke should have gone harder and committed to marking that obvious one. He pulled out cos he thought Lynch had it. The other one from half back was bad.

I have to say that Tarrant worries me big time. When the game speeds up in the second half he will get exposed. It could be the difference in a tight game.

Honestly we should have played Miller instead.

Yes very wasteful. Needs to lift.

So does Jack. I'm getting sick of watching him carry on like a pork chop when he refuses to chase or go hard at all ball. Still going to kick smart goals here and there but gee he doesn't offer much elsewise.

Wasteful going inside F50. Lacking that front and square crumbed.

Last 10 mins played some dumb footy. Blues were just knocking that on and we didn't wake up to it.
