Not sure how many round ball fans we have here but if anyone is interested, I have started up a dream team comp for the world cup.

Just go here http://wc06dreamteam.sportal.com.au

I have 2 Argies in my starting 11 (Riquelme & Messi). Both in top form ATM. I think Argentina will go close to taking it out this year as long as they put the pressure of their fans behind them. As far as the Aussies go, I'm just hoping we can win a pool game or two. We are no doubt in the toughest pool by a long shot.

If anyone is interested, here is a site that may help you with some of the teams and their players current form.

I've got Riquelme in my squad too tiga. Great minds think alike lol.

Kewell and Cahill (fingers crossed) are the two Aussies I have.

Am in with my intimate knowledge of football, since thats the only afternoon sport throughout the Dec/Jan period.  (Cricket is of course on throughout the night here)

I am pumped for the World Cup, i am not a huge soccer fan but would watch Australia play marbles against another country.

My dreamteam is in although i dont have a great knowledge of the best players. Just mainly picked the names i know.

I noticed that there are a few unknown ferals in our comp. Must have been added automatically by sportal to make up the numbers.
Only 2 points behind you MT.  :thumbsup

On it??? We Built the Bugger and gave it a paint job and wheel alignment.  :thumbsup
Looks like he might be rested for the next game because of yellow fever. Not only can he kick goals, he sure knows how to chop a leg or two  :lol

I love how the Socceroos have got this bad boys reputation. Timmy Cahill makes sure his yellow cards are worthwhile lol.

Anyway you've now skipped ahead tiga but I'll be back by the end of the weekend  ;).
