Essendon v Richmond

Lynch to kick 3 or more goals

Tom Lynch is in white-hot form coming into this Saturday night clash, having kicked 16 goals in the last three rounds.

The Bombers are coming off a turbulent week and it’s hard to imagine their energy levels will be too high – not to mention their key defensive pillars have struggled all season.

He was held goalless when they met earlier in the season – but he kicked four behinds.

This looms as a Lynch fill-up, particularly with an outside shot at the Coleman on the line.

Parish and Merrett to combine for 50 or more disposals

Nothing is certain in Essendon’s world at the minute. A horrific season has exploded behind the scenes and it’s impossible to predict what they will dish up on Saturday night.

One thing you can probably rely on is Zach Merrett and Darcy Parish finding the footy in some capacity.

Expect the pair to roam as they please against a Richmond midfield that does not tag.

Forced the turnover on the wing. Prestia to Jack at HF who finds Cumberland 30 out. Goal!

They get an easy center clearance goal and we get one right back. Prestia out of the middle. Cumberland out the back kicks his 2nd

Did our best to give up another goal in the last minute but they kick it OOTF and we go up the other end in 15 secs thanks to a 50m penalty. Miller gets the free (yes we are out there ump) and goals after the siren
