35 Essendon seniors players plan to leave for Ibiza for end of season trip before the clubs very first AFLW game.

I'm so proud of how good our club is these days. Essendon are a disgrace.

Skipper Katie Brennan will miss the season opener as she continues to recover from a foot injury.

Sarah Hosking will captain the side for the first time in her absence.

The Tigers will unveil five players for their first AFLW outings in the Yellow and Black, including two AFLW debutants.

Draftees Eilish Sheerin and Katelyn Cox (wearing now guernsey #17) have been named to make their AFLW debuts in the Round 1 clash against the Cats.

Sign and trade recruits Libby Graham, Stephanie Williams and Grace Egan will all run out for the first time as AFLW Tigers.

Agree Chuck, no KB costs us at least 2 goals

But I'm expecting Yassir to give us goals this year. Reckon Wakefield is the other option for 2-3
