Beautiful work by McKenzie with the inboard kick on the wing really opened up play.

As her official no 1 fan I’m very excited to see her improvement this year.

Great work by Seymour one of our most improved players

Yep. Wakefield was too slow moving the ball. We had numbers out the back.

At the game

Right call out the back were moving slowly but also no marking forwards down near the goal square

Ouch!

Don't like to see players hurt but that wasn't a free. Lynch rolled the Geelong player in the tackle. That's why the Cat did her shoulder.

Good signs early.

I like our attack on the ball carrier unfortunate injury to that Geelong player.

We need to clean up our inside 50 entries. Missing Brennan up there for sure.

Sheeran been terrific
Sheerin has been very solid

Hosking has been excellent with her attack on the opposition.

Quarter time

Richmond  1.0-6
Geelong    0.1-1

Goals: Seymour

Physical game. Defensively doing well. Just need better connection between the mids and forwards.

Great to standard of umpiring in AFLW season 7 is as good as it's ever been.

= Pathetic.

Disappointing 1st qtr. Not quite sure we are not keeping someone back for the turnover

We get the ball and the F50 is empty and when Wakefield is back there she has 2 on her because there is no Brennan. Then our midst don't lower the eyes

Not a bad start.

Our ball movement could be better but it’s expected at this early stage of the season and our forward entries aren’t very good but our attack and pressure has been good.

Skills will improve as the season progresses.

McKenzie’s lace out 45 was awesome to watch and exactly the kind of thing you would want to see round 1.  :clapping
