As a spectacle it’s a certainty
No “could” about it

I'll give it another crack this week.

AFLW have a free hit to play exciting footy styles from yesteryear, but instead they play boring, system-based, modern tripe which they don't have the skills and fitness to execute anyway. That's my biggest knock on it. I also think they need to de-select all players who are obviously overweight and/or don't go remotely hard at the contest, otherwise it's incredibly difficult to take it seriously. (If they don't take themselves seriously, I don't see why I should.)

Agree with all of that (except for the another crack part)

I’m having trouble watching it with the dangerous tackle umpiring, about 90% of the frees  given are malarky

Shame Brennan couldn’t get up for this we rally need her leadership.
Some good changes made. Good to Jess back, the Hosking girls are tough as nails and put the body on the line. Brancatasino is very capable at getting the ball and her tackling is very good.

D’Arcy was very disappointing last week she’s actually capable of better than that.
Molan no, she’s just no good at this level.
As much as I don’t like Molan, at least one thing you can’t say about her is that she’s unsighted which is unfortunately what Reid was again last week. She really needs to involve herself more in games. She’s very young but I’m hoping for some improvement from her this year. Hopefully she shows something this week.

I’d like to see McKenzie used more in the guts and centre forward much like Dusty is utilised.
I’d like to see more from Poppy Kelly in the ruck.

Gabby Seymour is just getting better and better and is becoming one of my favourites in the team.

Despite last weeks disaster i think there is improvement in the list so I’m expecting an improved performance this week vs Adelaide on our home deck  :gotigers

Congratulations to Sarah Hosking playing her 50th game.

Great achievement  and its amazing how good she is for someone so new to the game really not having played it until she was 20. A real natural.

She’s really an improved player and a heart and soul type that leads by example. Real future captain material IMO.

Hopefully the girls give their all for her this week and cause an upset.  :gotigers

"Tricky" conditions according to the commentators.

Wakefield two shots two misses.

Yet Adelaide go coast to coast for a set shot goal.

Not so tricky for them apparently  ::).

Quarter time

Richmond   2.2-14
Adelaide     2.0-12

Goals:  Wakefield, Yassir

Good intensity so far.

Umpiring up to its usual confusing standard.
