Sarah Hosking out of the middle goes long. Kelly's second effort wins the HTB free 30 out. Another kick that doesn't make the distance. No score  :scream.

Playing like a side that doesn't know how to win this last qtr. Mistakes and poor decision making galore :facepalm.

27 - 28

Only got ourselves to blame if we lose this.

 :help :banghead

We can’t hit the side of a barn from 30 metres and the smallest girl in their team hasn’t ever kicked a goal has just slotted two  :banghead

Lost by 9 after a scoreless last qtr.

Pathetic! Sorry that's a disgraceful loss.

We can't win games if we can't score with 4 times the inside 50s  :banghead. We have so many who can't kick over a jam tin especially in front of the sticks. How do you make the top level if you can't even make the distance from 30m out?  :help

The only way we scored goals was on the transitional break where we got out the back rebounding from D50. Any traditional F50 entry with opposition numbers in D50 and it's just hack it and hope Auskick style. We don't lower the eyes because we have too many who can't kick from beyond 20 out and that's ignoring accuracy  :help.

Feel sorry for Conti trying to carry this side  :(.

We missed Brennan up forward.

Maybe we do need a couple fatties in our team.

That big chick down back for them (Biddell?) was excellent just gobbled up all our i50 entries one after the other.

Then they had another little fatty up forward (Ballard?) that kicked two massive goals in the last gifted to her by Miller when for some reason gave her the ball lace out twice.  :help

These bigger girls can still be mobile but aren’t easily shoved over like some of ours.

Anyway our forward entries were ridiculous.

It was excellent endeavour and pressure but our skill execution by foot is so bad it’s embarrassing.

The girls need investment into the program. Skills coaches are essential.
A real vflw program were the youngsters can learn properly in a professional environment and not getting thrashed mercilessly each week in Port Melbourne.  :banghead

With all the rhetoric I really don’t think we as a club are taking the Woman’s league seriously enough and that’s to the detriment of every girl that puts their heart and souls into the team to play in our jumper.

It’s a disgrace and the girls should be getting better by being treated seriously.

We can't win AFLW games with Kelly and Reid as key forwards.  One can't kick 25m and the other can't get a kick whilst letting her opponent dominate

Why we continue to try and defend a 1 goal lead with 10 mins to go does my head in

Just like the men found a way to lose.

Club is 3 from 3 this week in unforgivable losses

Who coaches this rabble. Just turned it on.

Ryan Ferguson,  former  mens AFL development coach. Got the gig when afl soft cap was slashed. Was a way of keeping him at the club

I've deliberately removed your comments about "fatties". Don't think body shaming is necessary. Seriously hope you and a few others don't have daughters. Don't think you realise the damage comments like that can do

On your actually point about bigger bodies, I actually agree. There is a place and a need .

But on our women's program and your point there. Totally agree 100%

The damage being done in the development of our young players is plain to see. The alignment is not working and it is embarrassing

I've asked a few times when will be getting our VFLW team again and keep bring told when the AFLW soft cap increases. I find this staggering.

We are spending the entire cap. On what is what I want to know

Are we serious about this comp or what?  Recruit some decent players and get a decent coaching group.

Are we serious about this comp or what?  Recruit some decent players and get a decent coaching group.

We have decent players

Our best 6 are 6 of the best in the comp

The next 6 are good players

Then we drop away and that's in part to having no VFLW side

You just need to look at our men's program and how much our development improved once we got our VFL side

Same would happen here
