Next hoodoo to break - 13 straight losses in June
« on: May 28, 2006, 08:39:07 PM »
After breaking the Geelong hoodoo, the next one to overcome is 13 straight losses in June over the past 4 years:

2005: 0-3
2004: 0-3
2003: 0-3
2002: 0-4

Our last win in June was Round 12, 2001 vs Sydney. In 2001 we won all three games in June. Funnily enough we played finals that year  :gotigers.

Lets be honest, Jacko and co want us to win some games but not enough that we stuff up our draft lol... probably happy to win 10 games this season and finish say 12th with a poor percentage lol

I am more than happy to make the eight. All I am saying that being realistic , Freo are hard to beat over there. The following week is very winable, lets not get ahead of ourselves here ;)

Common Jacko, spill your guts you want a top 5 pick...your happy to win 10 games and the kids get plenty of games lol and finish 12th with poo percentage and  get pick 5...

ps- Its just my view we need another good draft and picks 5 and 21 would be a good start before the trading begins.

Forget about trades and drafts, all we want to do is win games of football. Everything else will take of it self.

I'd like to see us get another early pick and another around the 20-21 mark. Thats 2 good players who should come in. Irrespective of whatever else we do on draft day.

Its a shame we will just miss the 30,000 members but I get the feeling 30,000 is gonna get smashed next year easily. I think we're looking at 33,000-34,000 next year.

thats right wp, thank god its not at the dome, but i reckon atm we would beat the roos anywhere anytime .

i honestly fel we can beat freo and then the roos, we should then beat the dawks.

not getting ahead of ourselves, but u think terry will have them going against the pies with confidence and then we have port at aami.

fingers x, we may be in for a great period, lets hope so.

port have been sus all , yr, and the pies are playing gr8 , but i feel they havent really played anyone special and hard yet in teh one one body on body stuff.  the dogs at full stregnth would have beathen them, and we are slowly becoming a pretty good team for winning one on ones and contested ball. something the pies have not come accross yet and they are just downhill skiing atm

the pies game will def be our so called "crunch"game and i reckon we are going just nicely!
