Not sure where he fits if we get Hopper/Taranto unless we decide on a run with role. Gradually went backwards this season, hopefully toe related.
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Considering he was carrying a pretty nasty injury for most of the season

And given his role within in the team

Thought he was very good this season. Will be interesting to see where he finishes in the B&F. Think it will surprise folks.

Still see him as the next captain of the Club

It's interesting to see people call Jack 'trade bait'.

I dont really agree with that.

We are bringing in Taranto and Hopper for more midfield depth.

To trade out a midfielder would seem counter productive to that.

Also he's a damn good player and person too.

I gave him a 6. A handful of great performances and then a lot of mediocrity, injury or no. If he was injured he probably shouldn't have been playing thanks Dimma.

He is a B grader which is fine but Taranto and Hopper would be upgrades and I understand georgies' sentiment re: tradeable

They're upgrades on him. In terms of team structure I can see Graham being pushed out by these two, however with Cotch retiring soon and Dusty getting on it's worth keeping him.

My logic is doesn't get enough of the ball , injuries and we are getting upgrades on him if crows or another Vic team offer a nice second rounder I'll take it.

a nice second rounder  :lol Look at what we did with the pick when we selected Browne and he was in the teens.

you blokes make me laugh. Do you remember what he did in those finals series? Clearly you have forgotten. I haven’t.

You really have a superiority complex these days don’t you.

And you know what should make you laugh more than the thought of trading out graham (which I don’t necessarily agree with btw) is calling an 18 year old with 1 season in the vfl a bust every chance you get.

Since when did I rate jack Ross? If he happens to play a good game I recognise it just as I do when he plays a bad game. It’s not that deep.

I enjoy reading everyone’s different opinion on topics, that’s the whole point of a forum. What I don’t like is people presenting their opinion as fact, putting down players and other posters opinions to do so.
