North defeated Geelong 16-14 or rather Geelong threw that final away.

Anyway, we play North next week.

I'm guessing it will be a Friday night.

It's our home final but don't be surprised we get sent to Princes Park to play it rather than Punt Rd.

Ch 7 just said it will be at Punt Rd.

A mate of mine reckons it will be at Prince's Park which makes sense. And he is usually on the money

Can only fit about 2,000 in at Punt Road and it's not a great venue for fans. Shocking amenities

The Tiger Army will be out enmasse...so we need it to played where you can accommodate up to 10,000. Not that I'm saying they'll get 10k

Got a good source that Richmond’s “home” final will be at Princes Park. I endorse this. Punt Road is way too small and if more than 2000 people want to come, it won’t accommodate it. Finals need to be played at the bigger venues.

Offsiders report Punt Road which I think is a letdown given the occasion. If that’s the case @Richmond_FC doing a disservice for people who want to see a finals game by playing there. Needs to be at a ground where more than 2000 people can attend.

Staggering decision playing it at Punt Road. So many won't be able to go. Club better make sure AFLW members get tickets.

Secondly, the time. The Matilda's are playing across the road at the same time.

The AFL are so stupid it's just not funny

They need to play their way

Once the Tigers give up too much uncontested possession in a game, they find it hard to apply their brand of tough, relentless pressure footy. Against the Lions on Saturday afternoon, once the home side established some control in the game Richmond got caught out playing skinny, straight line footy. Trapped out on the wing with all their numbers in direct line with the ball, they were exploited by Brisbane's willingness to use the width of the ground. As soon as Richmond rediscovered that in its own game in the final quarter, it once again looked dangerous. The Tigers will take encouragement out of that last quarter now but must play Tigers footy against North Melbourne next week if they are to remain in the hunt.

We don't play Princess Park very well.  It's too big for our game plan.  Absolutely the right decision to have it at Punt Rd.  A win is more important than a few extra fans at the game.

"A few extra fans"

Not sure a few thousand people missing out is the same as a few extra....

We played OK at Princes Park last time. Played it very well and we won. PRO is the same dimensions as Marvel, Princes Park is similar. Our game plan doesn't work when we allow the opposition to transition from D50 with no pressure or we are non competitive around stoppages as was proven last weekend... that has nothing to with the ground IMHO

I would also argue that the bigger the crowd the bigger the advantage to us. And let's not forget if we win; we are likely going to be playing at Princes Park the following week

Pretty sure those thousands of extra fans don't want to see us lose at the Scums home ground.  Punt Rd gives us the best chance to win
