Big Pay Day vs Pies Coming Up lol

I just saw our fixture lol. Our game against the Pies is a home game for us- which means ....drumroll....We get the cash
Hopefully our boyz can do some good things over the next 3 weeks...and the pies keep on there roll. I can see 80,000+ for the game...which would mean a huge pay day for our club. I dont know what Steve Wright would have budget for...probably 45,000-50,000 so theres massive room to generate extra cash and increase our hoped for profit of around $300k probably to almost double. Oh yeah...and a win would be nice on the day as well

Perfecting timing to remind the MCC which clubs bring the big crowds in regards to any new deal. If we can crack 80,000 then that will be the biggest crowd for the year by far outside Anzac day. Let's hope the boys can do their part before the break and set up the clash as game of the year. Oh and yep RT the $$$ and more importantly the win would do nicely too  .

If it turns out the way we hope maybe it would be an idea to make it a ticketed game where you have to reserve your seat if your not a Richmond member.That would mean we could screw another massive amount of cash out above normal gate entry out of the Collingwood hordes lol.

Eddie will be ticked off as it is with Ch 9 having to show the battle for the wooden spoon - Roos vs Bombers on Friday Night yet our game will be on delay late Sunday arvo. Way to go with the fixturing  .

making all non RFC members pay the extra is a way of scamming Collingwood more and making a statement to our loyal club members that RFC management is really looking after them, and to Richmond supporters who arent members...maybe theyll get the message that as improvement occurs, youll be better of buying a membership rather than getting slugged general admission and a reserved seat booking fee.

Great idea but.........

Whether it's a ticketed game isn't decided by the RFC it is decided by the AFL and the venue operators (in this case MCC)

I was under the impression that the CEO's Steve Wright & Greg Swann have agreed to a 50/50 split on gate takings.

The 50/50 split was a concillitory jesture after Campbell shafted the Pies in 04 and denied the Tigers vs Pies Round 1 game in 05 & 06.

Can anyone confirm ??
