Crap week for nominations but you have to laugh at Higgins having a whinge on the ground for a free kick, not knowing someone just took a contender on his head basically lol

What the hell are they doing down there. This kid has had six games and been sub in four of them and is now back out of the side most likely.
Add in he basically missed his first year thru injury which flowed into most of  his second year restricting how he could train.

Better to leave him in the vfl and let him get on with it imo. He needs continuity more than anything not playing as a sub. Let him Find some ball and much needed confidence for awhile.

Seems a bit lost at afl it really looks like he doesnt know weather to defend or provide run the net result we are not getting either.

Would not mind them playing him on a wing and give him the freedom to play to his strengths just free him up a bit. Would provide some needed pace at the least.

What are you on about?  :banghead

He is selected this week. Named on  the bench, so how is he "out of the side most likely"

Richmond defender Kaleb Smith has been nominated for the Virgin Australia AFL Mark of the Year, after his high-flying effort against St Kilda was voted as the best grab in Round 3.

I'll put my hand up and say I wasn't impressed with his game on Friday night. Poor decisions meant he put his teammates under immense pressure too often.

I thought he panicked a lot and turned it over a lot.

There is a play that stood out
When he handballed to the wrong option through the centre .. it was beyond horrible ..

Yeah was poor imo. Another player that doesn’t have any standout qualities to me

I’d say he most likely won’t be on the list next year (if he’s out of contract), however wasn’t this his first game in the 22? If not, there can’t have been many. I’d give him a block of games to see if he can adapt to afl level, especially with shorty out for a couple of weeks yet.

Give him a month. Decision making most definitely the problem.

It's only fair that now we're 18th on the ladder, I show the faith back in the club and do everything I can to put them in front. In the end, I'm stoked I made the decision to stay. I f***ing love this club”

Will absolutely be on our list next year.

Has been on the list so far 2.5 years and consistently performing well at VFL level, shows plenty of promise.

Not saying he'll make it but suggestions he'll be delisted this year are laughable IMO.

he's also short, terrible in the air and not particularly great at the hard stuff.

Can improve upon all of that but he'd wanna do it in the next 12 months
