There’s a top-20 AFL player at Richmond who most fans wouldn’t know much about at all, and his name is Seth Campbell. He’s been a massive riser in Champion Data’s player ratings, going from the 245th-rated player last year to no.19 year in one of the league’s starkest ascents. A high impact-per-possession player, the 20-year-old is averaging 12.7 disposals, 1.6 goals, 2.7 tackles and 2.1 inside-50s per game this season — including two goals and six tackles from an equal-career high 19 possessions against West Coast last Sunday. “He’s having a fantastic season,” Jordan Lewis said On the Couch. “He was a great rookie pick (in 2022) — 21 games last year, 10 goals. Nine games this year, 14 goals. He’s having a fantastic season; really good to watch.”

I’d like him playing the percentages a bit more. He’s shaping like a poor mans Shai which is perfectly ok. On track for a 40 goal season which is elite for a small forward.

He was extremely selfish last week with one of his goals and he didn’t go for a crucial contest in the last today.

Those things pee me off more than a skill error that people focus on

I think Vlas is a gun. I think Dylan Grimes, Shane Edwards and Kane Lambert etc were guns .. a level below the Cotch, Jack, Dusty, Richo champions

I don’t think Seth Campbell is anywhere near those blokes

So it’s about how people level certain words

I don’t have a problem with him and truly think he can play in a premiership side ..
