Honestly who would go back there.

Royce Hart
Brendan Gale

Jack would have and has an involvement with the team

Plenty go back there ..

No way Jack would have gone there

He said that he would definitely have considered it if they were introduced during his playing career.

It's hard to know.

At 30+ with 3 flags and 3 Colemans etc I don't think it's a stretch to imagine as they likely would have offered him an extra year on a contract and some silly money as well etc.

The friendly fire incident that caused Campbell's concussion.

Seth Campbell has been subbed out of the match following this incident with Tim Taranto.

Seth Campbell has been recognised for his breakout 2025 campaign, being named in the AFL Players’ Association’s 22Under22 Squad.

Campbell has become one of the most dangerous small forwards in the competition, with his smarts, awareness, energy and pressure in the attacking zone staples of his game.

The 20-year-old leads Richmond’s goal kicking heading into Round 22 with 23 majors, with Campbell recording multiple goals in nine games, including two bags of three (Round 4 and 11).

Amongst forwards, Campbell ranks equal-sixth in the AFL for pressure acts, which highlights his importance to the Tigers.

Still think he should have been played on a freakin wing for the year.Yet here we still are playing hacks and plodders like McIntosh Trezise and sometimes Ross.
People talk about our mids being as slow as treacle but fmd those in the outside roles dont help matters.

The times he's been up the ground I haven't been too impressed with his delivery inside 50 but heck it's worth a shot for the final game, why not

He's a battler

Has genuine finishing class, but apart from that, he's as tough as a soggy cupcake

Seth Campbell ended up our leading goalkicker for the season with 28 goals.

Campbell   28 goals
Lynch        26
Mansell      18
Taranto      15
Lalor          11
Green         11

-------------

ps. Quirky stat: 2025 makes it 33 of the last 47 seasons that a Tasmanian has won @Richmond_FC's goalkicking:

Michael Roach x 7 (one tie)
Matthew Richardson x 13
Jack Riewoldt x 12
Seth Campbell x 1

Yeah let's trade our highest goal kicker  :lol

What needs to happen is everyone else needs to lift. The fact I see Lalor in that list is where the problem lies. Where is Hopper?

Agree the problems include lack of goalkickers and the low amount of goals kicked. I know allowance needs to be made for suspensions and injuries but they are legitimate concerns

Man I know some of you don’t like Campbell and he’s become this sorta polarising figure with some praising him and some being overly critical but to call him a dud is pretty wild.

He’s 20 years old and was a a rookie draft pickup. I’m just his second season he has finished as our leading goal kicker, playing as a small fwd in the by far lowest scoring team in the league.

This!

Holy heck...

Kid has been great from the get go.

The only real reason we keep playing him forward is the quality and lack of class of the other general forwards we play there.Fmd we have to have someone who can kick the odd goal.

Mansell is not a goal kicker MRJ should not be on the list Green thats our small forward stocks no wonder Campbell keeps on being picked to play there.

But that is short sighted imo. We weren't winning many games regardless of where we played Seth. Part of the forward half problem had nothing to do with the forwards but slow unskilled mids kicking it in there.Part of it was a lousy system so why the heck were we not identifying firstly our players best attributes and playing them in the roles that suited. For me with Campbell that was wing.

Ask yourselfs what is it you want from wingers what do they need. Apply it to campbell and i can tell ya all it hits you in the face.
We should not be pidgeon holing the likes of Campbell into roles like small forward but looking at what he is actually best suited to and what will benefit us most not this year or next but when we start climbing.

He’s not a dud. That’s just ridiculous. I’d like to see him step up his defensive work.
"The money might have been better. But, at the end of the day, Richmond showed faith in me. It's only fair that now we're 18th on the ladder, I show the faith back in the club and do everything I can to put them in front. In the end, I'm stoked I made the decision to stay. I f***ing love this club”

For his age and experience he has had a good year imho, as with most of the kids they and he will improve with age and experience.
He did get a bit of midfield time , went ok but needs work .

You continually pot Banks and Short for their lack of toughness.

Watch this guy next year.

Makes Bellis, HRS, Banks, Short etc look like the second becoming of Jack Dyer for hardness
